Loanee Sanchez Watt could be on the bench for Saturday’s return to league action – and the push for promotion – at Oldham on Saturday.
The young Arsenal sriker is yet to make his debut for the Owls and with six loanees at the club, Gary Megson again has to make a choice as to who to leave out as the rules state teams can only name five in any matchday squad.
Watt missed out in the last league game against Orient but, with Rob Jones fit again, defender Migule Liera may be omitted from the squad, wth Watt getting his chance.
James O’Connor, Lewis Buxton and Gary Madine are all ruled out through injury and Wednesday, who are likely to be backed by 4000-plus fans, could face a former Owls favourite in the bulky shape of striker Shefki Kuqi.
