Llera on standby for recall to the Wednesday defence

Huddersfield Town

Miguel Llera could return to the Wednesday defence for Saturday’s televised lunchtime clash with Huddersfield at Hillsborough.

Kamil Zayatte is struggling with an ankle injury which makes him no more than 50-50 for the visit of the Terriers and Dave Jones confirmed today that Llera will replace Zayatte if he fails to recover in time.

Zayatte’s inclusion at the expense of Llera has proved a controverisal one with many fans – made all the more so by the former’s indifferent performances in recent games.

Jose Semedo is also available again after his three-match ban for the sending off at Bolton and manager Jones goes into the match knowing that defeat – and possibly even a draw – could signal the end of his reign at S6.
