Tom Lees is expected to make his return to competitive action with the under-23s in their PDL2 game away to Burnley on Monday afternoon.
Lees has been out of action for two months after suffering a hamstring injury in the warm-up before the home game with QPR at the end of August.
He is back in full training and Garry Monk said: “It’s just about building his football fitness now and bringing him back into contention.”
