Chris Kirkland has been named the Wednesday Player of the Year at the Star and Green ‘Un Football Awards.
The winners in several categories were announced at a presentation ceremony evening on Monday when Wednesday legend, Chris Waddle, was also placed into the Star and Green ‘Un Football Hall of Fame.
Amongst others honoured was ex-Owl Rob Jones, who was named as Doncaster Rovers’ Player of the Year.
