Jos Luhukay was rightly pleased with his side’s performance after Wednesday matched champions Wolves in most areas on Saturday.
After seeing the Owls take a point in a 0-0 draw, Luhukay said: “It was a good game for us. We defended well. We played some good football in the first half but I think Wolves only had one good chance to score.
“The team is very stable and playing with a lot of confidence. I’m satisfied with the performance against the best team in the league.”
The only disappointment was our failure to turn some excellent approach work into any shots on target in the 90 minutes and the Owls boss added: “We played very well but the last pass didn’t have the precision.”
