Jones ready to make more changes for Bolton challenge

Boss Dave Jones could make changes as Wednesday look to end a run of three successive defeats when Bolton come to Hillsborough on Saturday.

Jones questioned the application of some of the players after the midweek defeat at home to Huddersfield and may well shuffle the pack again for the Trotters’ visit to S6.

Gary Madine, who began the game on Wednesday night, could find his place up front under threat, loanee Jay Bothroyd has also yet to impress while Jermaine Johnson’s form has faded after an impressive early start to the season. Chris O’Grady can count himself unfortunate to have lost his starting place in recent weeks and is a possible replacement while Rodri may also return.

In defence, Joe Mattock is ruled out through suspension after being sent off against Huddersfield. Kieran Lee could make his debut in Mattock’s place while Miguel Llera will also come into contention.
