Dave Jones praised the quality of the opposition as Wednesday went down to Blackpool on Tuesday night.
After seeing the Owls beaten 2-0, Jones said: “We have to admit that we were second best in the first half. The second half was more encouraging but we were up against a very good team.”
Jones added: “You have to hold your hands up and admit that in the first half we were chasing it a bit.
“In the second half we created six good chances in front of goal, so we had opportunities.”
