Dave Jones has fulfilled his aim to bring in competition for Chris Kirkland by signing young Arsenal keeper Damian Martinez on loan.
Martinez, 21, stands six foot four inches tall and is an Argentina youth international. He joined Arsenal in 2010 but has so far failed to find his way into the first team.
He joins us on an initial one-month loan.
Meanwhile, Jones has indicated that he would like to keep another S6 loanee – Matty Fryatt – at the club when his initial four-week spell runs out.
