David Jones should be fit to return to the squad for our Hillsborough clash with neighbours Barnsley on Tuesday evening.
He was back in training on Monday and Carlos Carvalhal confirmed that Jones should be involved in the derby game after missing Saturday’s defeat at Reading.
Almen Abdi was another absentee on Saturday after suffering a hamstring problem in last week’s ‘behind closed doors’ friendly against Notts County and is still ruled out for the Barnsley match.
