Wednesday look to have lost out on extending Roger Johnson’s loan spell at the club, following reports that he has signed for West Ham.
The 30-year-old is said to be set to seal a move to the Hammers today and is expected to be named in their squad for Wednesday’s Capital One Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
Johnson has formed a promising centre back partnership with Glenn Loovens at Hillsborough in recent weeks. We had hoped to get him back at S6 on a new deal but now League West Ham have stepped in.
