Dave Jones is Wednesday’s new manager.
The former Cardiff and Wolves boss will be unveiled as Gary Megson’s successor tomorrow, with the Owls off to face Rochdale at Spotland on Saturday.
Megson’s assistant Chris Evans and first team coach Neil Thompson had been put in temporary charge following Megson’s dismissal on Wednesday evening and Evans is likely to be ‘manager’ for the Rochdale game.
Jones has been out of work since leaving Cardif at the end of last season, following six years with the Welsh club.
