Injury-time heartache as Rhodes blocks our way to victory

An equaliser deep into injury time robbed Wednesday of victory in an eight-goal promotion thriller against Huddersfield at S6 on Saturday.

We went two-down early on as danger man Jordan Rhodes scored with two headers but were level before the half-hour mark with a Rob Jones header and Reda Johnson from close in.

Ben Marshall sent the majority of the 28,000 crowd wild when he cut inside to put us ahead after the break and then Chris O’Grady’s looping header made it four.

However, Rhodes completed his hat-trick to put Huddersfield back in the game and the same player struck again some six minutes into the minimum five minutes of added time to round off a rollercoaster of a game.
