Injury boost as Owls chase another three points

Wednesday could see more of our recent injury casualties back in the squad as we continue the push for the play-offs at home to Charlton tomorrow.

Darren Moore said today that Sam Hutchinson and Dominic Iorfa are both available, if selected, for the 18 to face the Londoners and Lewis Gibson is also expected to be in the squad after his successful return as a sub at Doncaster last Saturday.

Hutchinson missed the win over Rovers through injury, Gibson impressed when he came on as a second-half sub at Doncaster while Iorfa had an hour’s runout with the under-23s in midweek and suffered no reaction after his lengthy lay-off.

However, Lee Gregory has had a minor setback as he recovers from a foot injury and is ruled out while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing remains sidelined.

Moore may well start with the strike pair of Saido Berahino and Callum Paterson up front after they both came on at half time at Doncaster and played a big part in turning a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 victory.

We go into the Charlton match chasing a sixth win in seven league games and sit in eighth place, just one point adrift of the play-offs.
