Wednesday hope to have at least four of our injured players back for the South Yorkshire derby clash with Barnsley at Oakwell on April 1.
Carlos Carvalhal is looking to the quartet of Fernando Forestieri, Sam Hutchinson, Ross Wallace and Gary Hooper – or at least some of them – to be ready to return to action after the international break.
Hooper has been out with a hamstring injury since the draw at Fulham in November, Forestieri and Wallace have both recently been sidelined with knee injuries while Hutchinson has been out of action since limping off against Norwich earlier this month.
Carvalhal said: “We have wishes that we can recover in these two weeks Sam and Gary Hooper and I think we can probably recover Fernando and Ross Wallace also. I think we can recover a minimum of four players.”
