Wednesday wait on injury updates on Lucas Joao and Daniel Pudil ahead of the visit of Ipswich to S6 on Saturday.
Joao, who this week extended his contract at the club until 2021, has been struggling with a groin injury picked up in training a fortnight ago while Pudil limped off late on in Sunday’s defeat at Brentford, again with a groin problem.
Jos Luhukay said they would be assessed after training on Friday and added that, if both are 100 per cent fit, then they will be in the squad.
The Owls boss also has to decide whether to make any changes to the starting line-up from the midweek win over Millwall, against an Ipswich side who are managed by Wednesday fan Paul Hurst and are still looking for their first Championship win of the season.
