Gregory eyes place in starting line-up

Wednesday face what should be a good test of our early season promotion credentials at Peterborough tomorrow evening.

We sit in second place on seven points from three games, behind leaders Ipswich on goal difference, while Posh are in fourth with two wins and a defeat from their opening three league matches.

Lee Gregory looks likely to start up front in place of Callum Paterson. He replaced his fellow striker for the last half hour against Charlton on Saturday and his movement and link-up play were important factors in our improved performance in the final third of the game, culminating in the late winner.

Another of Saturday’s subs, George Byers, can be expected to start in midfield while Dennis Adeniran could also get a place in the starting eleven.

He impressed in last week’s Carabao Cup win over Sunderland and, after being ‘rested’ on Saturday, Darren Moore indicated that Adeniran will be in the squad for the Peterborough trip.
