Stuart Gray has to decide whether to recall Jose Semedo to the Wednesday midfield for Saturday’s home clash with Wolves.
Semedo missed last weekend’s win at Blackburn through suspension and replacement Kieran Lee showed encouraging signs of a return to last season’s form, also scoring our opener against Rovers.
If Lewis McGugan is fully recovered from the concussion that saw him stretchered off at Ewood Park then Gray is likely to have to choose two from three for the central midfield starting roles.
Gray said: “It is a nice position for me to be in. I was delighted with the way Kieran Lee performed on Saturday. He got his goal and played the way he did on a consistent basis last season.
“Lewis has done some light training so hopefully he will have no reaction to that. He’s just got a stiff neck but fingers crossed he will be ok for Saturday.”
