Gray praises performance after narrow defeat to Leicester

Stuart Gray was full of praise for Wednesday’s display in the 2-1 defeat at Championship leaders Leicester on Friday night.
Victory for the Foxes takes them to the verge of a return to the Premier League but Gray said: “We played well tonight and credit to the players because they have pushed the team that will be the champions of the  Championship all the way.
“We have been beaten by a very well taken goal  from Knockaert and that’s the kind of quality they have in the team. But we have created chances of our own and the players thought we should have had a  penalty at the end.”
Gray added: “Overall, we worked hard all over the field and I have just said to the players, if you are going to lose a game, that is how to lose it, with honesty, hard work and endeavour.”
