Stuart Gray has dismissed reports linking Wednesday with a £12m bid for Blackburn’s Jordan Rhodes.
The head coach said: “It’s just a stupid story that has gone about and there is no truth in it.”
Former Owls loanee Ben Marshall, now also playing at Blackburn, has been reported as being another Gray target. However, he said while Marshall is a player he has always liked, Gray added that he would not comment on stories linking the club with individuals in this way.
