Wednesday will have to wait on Anthony Gardner to see if he is fit to return against former club Crystal Palace at Hillsborough on Saturday.
Gardner suffered a thigh injury against Derby and failed to recover in time for Tuesday night’s trip to Birmingham, Martin Taylor returning to the side against one of his old clubs.
Dave Jones said Gardner’s injury will be assessed later in the week, with Taylor on standby to continue in his place.
