Sam Hutchinson, Ross Wallace, Almen Abdi and Callum McManaman all face tests before Carlos Carvalhal names his side for the Villa Park clash.
Hutchinson missed the midweek game with Burton after limping off in the first-half against Norwich last Saturday, Abdi missed both matches through injury while Wallace went off during the Burton draw and McManaman was ruled out of the same game with injury.
We go into the Villa test still in the final play-off spot on 62 points, five clear of nearest rivals Fulham, who also have a game in hand and are at Newcastle tomorrow.
