Fernando Forestieri returns to the Wednesday squad for Sunday evening’s televised FA Cup fourth round tie with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Forestieri has been out of action since limping off with the recurrence of a hamstring injury at Blackburn in December but caretaker boss, Steve Agnew, has confirmed he is fit enough to be recalled for the clash with the cup holders.
While Forestieri returns to the squad, loanee Michael Hector misses out as, under FA rules, players cannot appear against their parent club in the competition.
Meanwhile, Sam Hutchinson can be expected to take his place in midfield against the team where he spent much of his early professional career.
Wednesday will be backed by a near 6000 sellout following and the tie is being screened live on BBC One, kick off 6pm.
