A cracking effort from Fernando Forestieri was enough to give Wednesday a 1-0 win at Lincoln in our first pre-season friendly.
Forestieri fired home from the edge of the penalty area on 55 minutes to secure victory in a game which saw Wednesday field two different line-ups for each half.
First-half line-up: Westwood, Baker, Lees, Thorniley, Fox, Matias, Hutchinson, Jack Lee, Reach, Alex Hunt, Joao.
Second-half line-up: Dawson, Palmer, Nielsen, van Aken, Pudil, Bannan, Pelupessy, Boyd, Preston, Nuhiu, Forestieri.
Attendance: 5846 (just under 3,000 from S6!).
