Fernando Forestieri signalled his comeback from injury with a goal for the under-23s against Coventry at Hillsborough on Monday afternoon.
The striker, who has been sidelined for most of the season following knee surgery, played just over an hour for the youngsters in a 2-1 victory. And Forestieri was back on the goal trail on 10 minutes, putting us ahead from the penalty spot after he had been fouled in the box.
Coventry equalised before the break but Preslav Borukov netted the winner on 65 minutes.
Joost van Aken was also in the starting line-up as he continues his comeback from injury.
