Saturday’s must-win final home game of the season against Forest will now be a lunchtime kick off and live on Sky Sports.
It was originally a 3pm start but has been moved to 12.30pm, while Saturday’s matches for relegation rivals Derby and Rotherham – at Swansea and home to Blackburn respectively – remain as 3pm kick offs.
There may be an argument that this gives the other two clubs an advantage as they will know how we have fared before they kick off.
On the other hand, a Wednesday victory could put added pressure on one or both of them and for us, whatever the kick off time, we know we have to win against Forest to have any realistic chance of survival going into the final game at Derby on May 8.
