Fans hit by ‘massive’ matchday increase

Wednesday fans have been hit by a major hike in matchday ticket prices for the coming season.

A seat on the Kop for a Category A game  will cost supporters £42 if they are non-members, while that rises to £49 for a seat in the South Stand and four pounds less in the North Stand and Grandstand. There is a £5 discount for members.

Prices then reduce by three pounds as per the category of each game.

The season opener at home to Bristol City on August 8 is rated a Category B game, so matchday tickets will be £39 on the Kop, £42 in the North Stand and Grandstand and £46 on the South Stand. Again there is a £5 discount for members.
