Darren Moore was full of praise for Wednesday’s dominant display in tonight’s 3-0 EFL Trophy win over Newcastle’s youngsters.
The Owls boss said: “I thought it was the perfect performance, I’ve just said to the lads their attitude was spot on and it was a completely professional performance
“Every time we go out there we play to win, this is Sheffield Wednesday and of course we want to go as far as we can in every competition.”
Moore said of the 6,593 crowd: “I’d like to say a big thank you to the 6,500 fans who came out to support the team tonight, to see the stand full like that gave the players a real lift and it was great for the young Newcastle lads, too.”
