Drenthe banned as Owls search for victory

Wednesday will be without the suspended Royston Drenthe for tomorrow’s derby clash with Rotherham at Hillsborough.

Drenthe, who has just established himself in the first team following his loan from Reading, will be serving a one-match ban following his sending off at home to Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Wednesday will be searching for a first win in nine and for a second home league victory this season after eight matches and just three goals at S6 – and none in the last three games.

Rotherham, who have sold out their 4,500 allocation, have only won once away in nine trips this season. However, they have left victorious on their last four visits to Hillsborough and our last sucesss against the Millers on home soil was in the old division two back in 1981.
