Jordan Thorniley misses Saturday’s away clash with Villa after limping off in the midweek defeat at Forest.
Defender Thorniley injured a calf during the second half and has failed to recover in time for the trip to Villa Park.
Daniel Pudil came on as substitute for Thorniley at the City Ground while loanee Michael Hector is another possible replacement at Villa.
Steven Fletcher could be in line for a recall to the starting line-up after coming on from the bench at Forest and young full back Matt Penney can be expected to return to the left back slot after missing out altogether in midweek.
In addition, Liam Palmer may also be in contention after being replaced by Ash Baker for the Forest trip.
