Wednesday are likely to have to increase their reported £700,000 bid for Michail Antonio if they want to bring the Reading winger to Hillsborough.
Antonio, who impressed during a loan spell in last season’s promotion campaign, had a second-half runout against the Owls during our 2-0 win over the Royals in Portugal on Tuesday evening.
The game also gave chairman Milan Mandaric the opportunity to talk to Reading officials about a possible deal and the indication from the Berkshire club is that Wednesday will need to up the offer if Antonio is to return to S6.
