Corry doubt as Owls look to make it three in a row

Dave Jones is waiting on the fitness of Paul Corry as Wednesday look to make it three successive wins at home to Blackpool tonight.

Midfielder Corry limped off early in the victoryover Peterborough on Saturday after suffering an ankle injury. Rhys McCabe, who took over against the Posh, is again likely to be the replacement if Corry is ruled out.

That aside, Jones is likely to keep the side that has taken six points out of six after wins over strugglers Ipswich and Peterborough, although he might consider starting with Gary Madine up front, in place of Chris O’Grady.

Blackpool arrive at Hillsborough with caretaker manager Steve Thompson still in charge, following Ian Holloway’s switch to Crystal Palace, and Thompson will be looking for an improvement on Saturday’s performance when they went down 4-1 at Derby.
