Chairman Dejphon Chansiri will be giving a press conference on Thursday morning.
Wednesday fans have heard little from Mr Chansiri for several months but it has now been announced he will be holding the meeting with the media.
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust has also been invited to the meeting.
However, while the Trust has welcomed the invite it says it had already been in communication with the club since Sunday to try to secure a meeting with Mr Chansiri, to express issues of concerns from members.
The Trust says it will continue to press for such a meeting.
