Chairman announces duo to join club

Wednesday have made two new appointments in effectively bringing together a three-man sporting director committee.

Joining head coach Stuart Gray will be the former manager and player, Glenn Roeder, and ex-Hull City owner and chairman, Adam Pearson.

Roeder, who played for QPR and Newcastle amongst others and went on to manage the Geordies, West Ham, Norwich and Watford, will focus on the footballing side of the business.

Pearson, who also owned and chaired Derby County and was a director at Leeds, will advise on business-related strategies at the club.

Chairman Delphon Chansiri said: “Adam and Glenn are seasoned football professionals and I am delighted they are joining us on this exciting journey, which we all intend will lead to the Premier League.”
