Owls slip five places after Saturday’s games

Wednesday have dropped five places to 11th after Saturday’s Championship programme of matches. Defeat by Middlesbrough on Friday night meant we stayed on 19 points and we now sit two points behind Derby and Norwich, who currently fill the last two play-off positions.

Winnall lasts 70 minutes as under-23s win

Sam Winnall played 70 minutes for the under-23s in their 1-0 win at Hull City on Saturday evening. It was the latest stage in Winnall’s recovery from his serious knee injury and the Owls clinched victory in injury time with a goal from Liam Waldock.
