Carlos Carvalhal was full of praise for his players as Wednesday made it a week’s haul of seven points out of nine with a 1-0 win over QPR.
The head coach said: “My players have been unbelievable this week, against very difficult teams. I’m very happy about what my players did … it was special today.
“We are resilient and reacting well all of the time. We are in a good way in the league.”
He added: “The players have worked hard and played well in all three games this week, and today the level was very good again.
“We deserved to win this game, and even though we could have scored more goals, the way we play is very good.”
