Carlos Carvalhal says Wednesday won’t be selling Lucas Joao – or any other players – in the January transfer window.
Talking after today’s draw at Blackburn, Carvalhal said he had spoken with Dejphon Chansiri in recent days and the chairman confirmed to him that no players will be sold in January.
Joao’s outstanding performances this season have sparked transfer speculation involving Premier League clubs, notably Everton, but now both chairman and head coach have scotched the rumours for the rest of the season.
