Gary Hooper’s future – or not – at Hillsborough is likely to be settled in the coming days.
Hooper signed off from his loan spell at S6 with two match-winning goals against Leeds on Saturday and now goes back to parent club, Norwich, with speculation over whether he will return to Wednesday in the transfer window, either on loan for the rest of the season or in a permanent deal.
Carlos Carvalhal said after the Leeds victory: “I have good expectations. He likes being here, to work with us and to play here and maybe the conclusion can be happy for all of us.”
