Carlos Carvalhal was happy with the Owls display in a 2-0 friendly win at Chesterfield today.
He said afterwards: “I am happy with what we did today. The offensive dynamic was very good and we made very few mistakes during the game.
“We have taken another big step to be more near where we want for the new season.”
Goals in the first half-hour from Kieran Lee and Fernando Forestieri gave the Owls a comfortable win, Lee slotting home on nine minutes and Forestieri adding a second after 28 minutes to complete the success.
