Carlos Carvalhal was pleased to see his second-half attacking switch pay almost instant dividends against Forest.
It was less than 10 minutes after the introduction of Lucas Joao as an extra striker when Fernando Forestieri scored the winner and Carvalhal said afterwards: “I think the first half was okay, but I felt we could be doing better so I decided to change the team in the second.
“I wanted to go all out for the win and the changes we made were to try and score a goal, so I was very pleased when we managed to do so.
“We had some more chances near the end but I am very happy with the win and the team performance once again.”
