Carlos Carvalhal will be missing from the dugout at Hillsborough on Saturday as he begins a two-match suspension.
Carvalhal will watch the Forest game from the directors’ box after receiving the touchline ban, following an incident involving Bolton boss, Phil Parkinson, during our EFL Cup exit last month when he was also sent to the stands.
The head coach said: “Obviously I am not pleased with this situation but I am like all the coaches who feel the emotion of the game and the emotion of the moment.”
Carvalhal was also fined £4,000 and the charge was labelled as a non-standard case as it was his second miscounduct charge within 12 months, following his dismissal at Villa in March.
Parkinson was fined the standard £2,000 after being dismissed in the altercation while Owls’ Performance Director, Andy Kalinins, will also serve a two-game touchline ban, and was fined £3,000, after admitting a misconduct charge following a 90th minute incident in the same game.
