Stephen Bywater could go straight into the Wednesday squad for Monday’s home clash with Tranmere Rovers.
Bywater, who was on loan with us until returning to Pride Park in December, has rejoined the Owls on a free transfer from Derby until the end of the season.
Nicky Weaver was back in goal after a lengthy injury lay-off for the New Year’s Eve win at Preston and Gary Megson will need to choose between him and Bywater for the keeper’s spot against Tranmere.
