Lewis Buxton has signed a new two-year contract with Wednesday.
Buxton, who joined Wednesday permanently at the start of 2009 after a loan spell at S6, has committed his future at Hillsborough until 2015.
The 29-year-old defender said: “It means a lot to me to remain here and be one of the longest serving players at this club because it is a fantastic place to play your football.”
