Caretaker boss Lee Bullen believes Wednesday need to strengthen the squad in three areas.
Speaking after the 2-2 friendly draw with Espanyol on Sunday, Bullen said he feels we need cover in central defence, an additional midfielder and another winger.
Referring to the vacant managerial position he said, as far as he is aware, he will be in charge at Reading next Saturday and added: “I know exactly what the club is about. I know exactly what the fans are about. I know exactly what the chairman’s about. I know these players and the Championship inside out.
“When it comes to that experience it’s great – but the chairman has got a big decision to make.”
