Beaten Owls left fuming over penalty claim

Wednesday could easily had a point at Loftus Road today but left empty-handed in a 2-1 defeat.

New boy Atdhe Nuhiu fired us in front from the edge of the penalty area but two quick Rangers goals from Onuoha and Johnson just before the break gave the home side a half-time lead.

In an eventful second-half, Michail Antonio missed a sitter and then we should have had a penalty when Jacques Maghoma was clearly fouled in the penalty box by Joey Barton, only for the Wednesday player to be booked for diving.

Maghoma then hit an upright from 18 yards as we continued to threaten  and while Chris Kirkland excelled on occasions in both halves, Wednesday were left to reflect that on another day we might have earnt a draw.
