Wednesday face the prospect of losing Barry Bannan for the next three games after his sending off at Forest.
The key midfielder received a straight red for his tackle on Eric Lichaj 15 minutes from time and is now likely to miss next Saturday’s home match with Charlton, followed by our trip to Huddersfield and the visit of Blackburn on April 5.
Carlos Carvalhal would not comment on the dismissal after the game and, at this stage, the club has not appealed the decision.
