Bannan plays full part in Scotland victory

Barry Bannan played his part as Scotland kept alive their World Cup qualifying hopes with a late win against Slovakia at Hampden Park.

Bannan, who was booked in added time, played the full match and Scotland now travel to Slovenia for their final qualifier on Sunday. Victory would ensure them second place in Group F and  the possibility of a play-off place in their bid to make next year’s finals in Russia.

Wednesday team-mate Steven Fletcher was an unused sub in the Slovakia win.
