The Owls travel to Rochdale on Saturday after an amazing week of highs and lows … even by Sheffield Wednesday’s standards.
The euphoria of Sunday’s victory over Sheff U was followed by anger and shock amongst many fans on hearing of the sacking of Gary Megson and then came Friday’s unveiling of new boss Dave Jones at a sometimes feisty conference between the press and chairman Milan Mandaric.
And, in the midst of all this, Megson’s number two Chris Evans and first team coach Neil Thompson have been preparing the squad for another important away game at Rochdale in the quest for promotion.
