Chris O’Grady grabbed a late second goal for Wednesday as we ran out 2-0 winners against Premier League Reading in Portugal on Tuesday evening. Mike Jones had put us ahead just before the break and O’Grady’s effort sealed the victory in a much-improved performance from the Owls.

A goal in each half gave Sporting Lisbon a comfortable win over Wednesday on Sunday evening. A weak second half free kick from sub Miguel Llera was just about the only time the home keeper was called into action in a game which highlighted the gap in standing of the two teams.
