An update on Wednesday’s fixtures for next season … The home game with Sunderland, scheduled for Tuesday August 15, will now be played on the following evening. In addition, the S6 match with Preston, due to for Easter Saturday, will now be played on Good Friday, with a 3pm kick off.

George Hirst was a second-half substitute as England’s Young Lions clinched a place in the final of the Toulon Tournament with a 3-0 win over Scotland. Hirst came on after 63 minutes with holders England booking a place in Saturday’s final against the Ivory Coast.
