Wednesday’s youngsters exited the FA Youth Cup in a 2-1 defeat to their Arsenal counterparts. Liam Shaw pulled back a late goal but a first-half double from Amaechi sent the Gunners through to the fourth round after Wednesday evening’s tie at Boreham Wood.

Kick off switch for live Sky game

Wednesday’s home game with Cardiff next month has been switched to an early evening kick off as it will now be live on Sky. The clash with Neil Warnock’s side is still on January 20 but has been switched to a 5.30pm kick off.
