There has been mixed news on the international front this week for two Wednesday players.
Atdhe Nuhiu is in the Kosovo squad for two friendlies in Switzerland, against Albania on May 29 and then when they take on the Ivory Coast on June 3.
However, Keiren Westwood will sit out the Republic of Ireland’s upcoming two friendlies as he continues to recover from the groin injury that ended his season with Wednesday back in December.
He expects to be back in training within a fortnight and that means he misses out on the Republic’s friendlies against France on Monday and then the USA on June 2.
